Fall & Winter Styles with Zenni

Who says wearing glasses will ruin your fall and winter styles? I recently had a chance to work with Zenni to use their Face Shape Quiz and Try On Tools to find my best fit.

Zenni believes everyone deserves to look good while wearing an affordable pair of glasses– and I wanted to put that to the test. I had a chance to try on two pairs via their various fun tools, but before I got a chance to try them, I wanted to find out what differentiated them from the hundreds of other online retailers.

Zenni was born in the San Francisco Bay Area – a natural fit in the home of forward-thinking, tech-savvy companies. I’m also from California, but that’s not exactly where we aligned– they provide the most affordable eyeglasses to people all over the world. As someone who grew up wearing glasses since the age of 7 but was teased earlier in life, I love their mission to people glasses they can actually afford but still make them look like a million bucks.

Zenni actually delivers truly affordable, quality eyewear with more options for less. And I found a lot of options I liked, but I was actually surprised about their prices.

I was first able to shop their online catalog of more than 6,000 frames; and once my order was submitted, it is transmitted directly to Zenni’s factory– with no middle man. (Apparently they own their own 248,000 square-foot manufacturing facility that houses state-of-the-art Rx and Edging Labs.) Surprisingly too, they also design and produce their own frames, and they handle the production of the lenses as well— so they’re not a simple retailer.

They really have a simple process of researching and ordering online.

  • First, they need to know your PD (pupillary distance) to make your glasses.
  • Then, you upload your photo and PD to their Zenni Frame Fit® virtual mirror to try on and compare glasses.
  • Browse their MenWomenKids, or Featured pages and use their handy filters to narrow down your search. All glasses include FREE anti-scratch coating, single vision lens, UV protection, hard case, and cleaning cloth.
  • You’ll need to type in your prescription to complete your order, but when that’s entered, you’re good to go.

I really was a big fan of how simple it was to order (at first I had to do some research on what my PD was), but other than that, I received my glasses and really was impressed by the quality and the value!

Make sure to put your order in at www.zennioptical.com for your own new glasses to try them out.
